Squirreling Away Knowledge

According to this web-site, “the quality of an institution of higher learning can often be determined by the size, health and behavior of the squirrel population on campus. The Campus Squirrel Listings document the critter quality at universities throughout the United States and Canada.

While this site offers some light-hearted humour and possibly even has some merit, I am not sure that this is something to which SQE wishes to be connected.

As an educator (trustee/vice-chair) I think your site has valuable connections and insights.  While we can all appreciate a good laugh, I would hate to see your credibility diminished by being associated with this type of content.

Consider the likely response from someone (perhaps even an educator) who wishes to denigrate your valuable content.  They need only point out that you are associated with the ‘squirrels equate to quality education’ people.  Where do you go from there?  Do you even want to spend time on such a meaningless discussion?

Just a thought.
