More Justification for Eliminating the Fall Report Card
Ontario Fall Informal Progress Report - A. Student
December 8, 2010
This student seems to be doing fine in grade 4 this year. It’s been a busy three months! Although I still haven’t had a chance to listen to this student read, I’m pretty sure I’ve noticed him or her looking at a book from time to time. With regard to the student’s writing ability, I will be in a better position to evaluate this once I have had time to assign written work to the class. As far as mathematics goes, the class has spent the fall doing group projects and consequently I have not yet had an opportunity to assess the student’s progress in this area. The student seems to get along with the other students reasonably well and progress in other areas appears to be satisfactory as well.
PS This is the kid with the red hair, right?

It’s all part of how the public is being duped by this government AND paying more for doing less with fewer students.
But, other than SQE where’s the outrage among parents and public? No groundswell of opposition that I can tell.
Teflon Dalton strikes again….because he knows he can.
He also knows he has lulled the public into believing all is well inside public education where once again little to no opposition on the ground and in the schools.
That proverbial “groundswell” better start flexing its muscle soon because right now the NDP plans and suggestions for education are starting to look good in comparison to the Liberal dismantling of vehicles that would increase accountability.
